Howdy Aggie Community,

Student Health Services is now receiving large allotments of the COVID-19 vaccination for Texas A&M students, faculty and staff. Recent changes to eligibility now allow all Texas adults (18+) to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Students aged 16 and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

  • How can I get the vaccine, and which vaccine is being offered?
    • Appointments are currently required for the vaccine and can be scheduled online through our Patient Portal at Vaccine availability can change weekly as we receive vaccine allotments. It is recommended to visit our Patient Portal or follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) for timely updates related to which vaccine we are currently administering.
  • What happens if I can’t find any available appointments?
    • SHS is now receiving large weekly allotments of vaccines and opens appointments based on our supply and patient demand. Additional appointment options will be added as new vaccine shipments arrive. We recommend individuals continue checking our Patient Portal every few hours during weekdays, as additional appointment times may be added throughout the day.
  • What should I bring to my vaccine appointment?
    • Individuals should bring their Texas A&M ID, health insurance information and completed vaccination forms (listed under “COVID Vaccination Forms”) to their appointment. Completing the vaccination forms in advance will expedite your appointment.
