Community Standards

Every student, employee, and visitor to the campus is expected to adhere to the following standards:

Communication

The university is monitoring COVID-19 data and updating weekly metrics with numbers of positive cases and suspected cases in an attempt ensure self-isolation where appropriate. The information also helps inform our decision making related to campus operations in consultation with the Texas A&M University System and local health officials.

As a reminder, the university will not communicate publicly about individual positive cases, consistent with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and other privacy considerations. Individuals who have been potentially exposed to a positive case will be notified through the university’s contact tracing procedures, making public communications unnecessary.
