COVID-19 Protocols

Feeling Sick?

Stay home when sick. Anyone regardless of vaccination status who experiences symptoms consistent with COVID-19 must isolate themselves from others.

Get Tested

Tested Positive?

Go home immediately or stay at home, practice self-isolation, regardless of vaccination status. Notify your close contacts, as well as, your processors, supervisors, or residence hall advisors.

Follow the Positive Test Protocol for more information and next steps.

Positive Test Protocol

Been Exposed?

Someone is exposed and becomes a close contact if they have been within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period starting from 2 days before illness onset until the time the patient is isolated.

If you have been exposed to COVID-19 through close contact, follow the Exposed Protocol for more information and next steps.

Take the Next Steps

Negative, but Still Sick?

If your COVID-19 test is negative, you must stay isolated from others until your symptoms are improving and you are fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medications.
